ESA Fire Program Announcement

ESA is pleased to announce that our Professional Fire Fighter Program is now licensed by the Private Career Colleges Branch of Alberta Advanced Education. As such, the accreditation for the NFPA modules in our program is regulated through the Office of the Fire Commissioner, Alberta.
The Fire programs are designated for federal and provincial student funding.
- Alberta students may apply online through StudentAid Alberta.
- Details for students from other provinces and territories in Canada are available on the CanLearn website.

"On July 2, 2019 I officially started my career as a (probationary) firefighter with the Grande Prairie Fire Department. I succeeded in all the steps; exams, physical fitness test, phobia exams, swim test, interview and station assessment. I made the one spot they were offering out of the 50 plus applicants that started with the aptitude exam.
